Pay: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)

- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- → Includes
- $2.00/hour shift differential
- Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
→ Includes 12% shift differential
Job Store Staffing is now hiring for a Coating Technician I to join a leading manufacturing company in Boulder, CO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with growth potential for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are eager to build a career in advanced manufacturing.
Position Overview:
As a Coating Technician I, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and inspecting optical components used in high-precision equipment. You’ll support operations by ensuring proper setup and loading of coating chambers while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and inspect optical substrates for defects or contamination
- Perform spin cleaning on small optics
- Prepare parts and tooling for coating processes
- Load/unload parts into vacuum coating chambers
- Package optical components for next stage or shipment
- Read and interpret process documentation and work instructions
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control protocols
- Support 6S workplace organization practices
- Assist with basic incoming inspections
- Participate in ongoing safety training and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a process manufacturing or cleanroom environment at your most recent job required.
- Comfortable with physical work — must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Background check and drug test required
