Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator with strong welding skills for a fourth-generation design company dedicated to creating uncompromisingly beautiful, artisan-made lighting. Pay Range: $20-25/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
What you'll do in this role:
- Perform precision fabrication of metal components and structures
- Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including cut-off saws, shear, mills, lathes, drill presses, and soldering equipment
- Utilize welding techniques to assemble and fabricate parts to specification
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings
- Set up fabricating machines and create custom templates as needed
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of fabrication experience
- Strong welding experience required
- Knowledge of manual mills and manual lathes is a plus
- General knowledge of shop math, including basic trigonometry
- Complete knowledge of fabrication equipment, setups, and fabrication practices
- Ability to use 3D CAD software a plus
