Job Store Staffing is hiring for Assembly Technicians for our Engineering client! Our client specializes in the Aerospace, Medical, Energy, and Transportation industries, just to name a few.
 
Hours of Position: Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm (including 1-2 mandatory Saturdays a month)

Pay Rate: Starting pay rate is $16.00/hour. 
*This company has a Pay for Skill Model with different levels which offers great growth and development opportunities, along with pay increases at each level! 

Duration: Contract-To-Hire

Location: North Colorado Springs, CO 80921 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Follow work order instructions (routers) in order to meet company and customer requirements.
  • Utilizing microscope to cut, weld, or close coiled spring material involving various levels of complexity.
  • Microscopically inspect work performed to ensure the product produced meets specifications.
  • Record quantities of product finished using standard company methods.
  • Maintain established performance levels on a consistent basis.
  • Other duties as assigned. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.

Qualifications:
  • Small part assembly required.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, follow and understand verbal and written work instructions in the English language.
  • Must be capable of achieving performance levels as established.
  • Ability to effectively use microscopes as an essential component of this position.
  • Able to work with calipers and micrometers.
  • Basic math skills.
  • High school or equivalent is preferred.
