Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician – Temp to Hire
$20–$23/hr
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (occasional Fridays)
We're seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support quality activities in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with GMP standards, FDA regulations, and customer requirements. You’ll collaborate with production, warehousing, and lab teams, perform inspections, maintain sample inventory, and help resolve quality issues on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Conduct sample tests and submit samples to labs
  • Maintain documentation and label control
  • Support investigations into quality or food safety issues
  • Perform GMP audits, system checks, and monitor quality control systems
  • Organize and file QA documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred
  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and working around machinery
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office; ERP/QMS systems a plus)
  • Must follow GMP and safety protocols
  • Must pass a background check
