Job Description

Do you have an eye for detail and wants to work in a fast-paced environment? Job Store Staffing has the opportunity for you! We are seeking a Woodworker for our small well-established client with family values!

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (35 hours a week)
Pay Range: $17-19/hour
Location: East Central Colorado Springs, 80915

We're looking for a candidate with an exceptional attendance record, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. Passing a UA Drug Screen, including testing for THC, is a requirement. If you're a high-energy individual with a thirst for knowledge, we'll provide you with the training to thrive in this role.

To be considered for this position, applicants should have a consistent work history and a proven track record of reliability, with minimal gaps in employment.

Skills Needed:
  • At least 3 years of working woodworking experience (solid hardwoods and MDF)
  • Experience with table saws, radial arm saws, jointers, planer, band saws, wide belt sanders and double miter saw.
  • An eye for detail and be highly organized
  • Able to self-manage timelines and communicate updates on completion 
  • Work well individually or within a group. 
  • Work well with short or changing timelines.
 
Job Duties: 
  • Operating woodworking machinery: table saw, radial arm saw, planer, wide belt sander, straight-line rip saw, horizontal re-saw
  • Sorting, gluing, and dimensioning hardwood lumber
  • Accurate measuring using tape measures and calipers
  • General shop duties and maintenance
  • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
