Job Description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a CNC Operator for a client in the Centennial, CO area! The CNC Operator will perform complex tasks on a variety of products, including but not limited to: lathes, mills, grinders, presses, and saws. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has a strong understanding of CNC equipment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Schedule:
1st shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm

Pay: $27-$31/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize customer fixtures and jigs located within the department.
  • Locate sheet material for job and complete Material Requisition Form per standard operation procedure.
  • Move sheet material to area for process. This includes the blanking of materials on necessary equipment.
  • Set up either 3 AXIS CNC or 5 AXIS per set up sheet.
  • Operator responsible for pulling all necessary glue, bosses, blocks and hardware for job.
  • Perform secondary operations as specified by Process Sheet this can include trimming part on various saws, use of routers, and drills.
  • Take first part to Quality Control for inspection and throughout the run as required. Complete all required quality inspection forms.
  • Handle all parts with care and store in appropriate box or cart. Complete required documentation of paperwork, label and move parts to controlled area for next operation as listed on Process Sheet.
  • Assist in the cleanliness of the department as needed. This would include sweeping department removal of trash, in or around other areas, etc.
  • Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Great computer and technical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • CNC Operator experience required.
