Job Description

Job Store Staffing is hiring a Direct Hire Estimator to join a well-established company in their HVAC/Plumbing department in Aurora, Co. This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability, career growth, and a competitive salary range of $85,100 to $92,400 annually.

As the Estimator, You Will:
  • Estimate costs for construction projects including materials, labor, and subcontractors
  • Review architectural drawings and specifications for accurate pricing
  • Conduct site assessments to identify challenges and gather project data
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors for competitive pricing
  • Identify cost-saving value engineering options
  • Mitigate risks and ensure estimates align with project goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation for auditing and project transitions
To Succeed as the Estimator, You Should Have:
  • A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 years of proven construction estimating experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and estimating methods
  • Proficiency in software like Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and under deadline pressure
  • A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional job site visits. Must be comfortable wearing appropriate PPE when on site.
