Job Description

We are seeking a Material Specialist to support supply chain operations and ensure materials are available to meet customer timelines. This role involves handling material transactions, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination to maintain smooth production processes.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00/hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform material transactions, including work orders, inventory management, receiving, and reconciliation.
  • Process and maintain work order statuses to support production timelines.
  • Build and distribute material kits for production teams.
  • Execute cycle counts, investigate variances, and develop remediation plans for shortages or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate across functions, including expediting, shipping and receiving, stockroom operations, and cycle counting.
  • Maintain accuracy in all material transactions and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a material management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Oracle or E1, is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain transaction accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills to analyze data and solve complex problems.
