Job Store Staffing is seeking a qualified Collections Support Specialist for our client company in the financial field. The main responsibilities of this role involve facilitating the timely recovery of product refunds, processing claims, handling deferments, posting checks, managing charge-off shares, and assigning loans, among other tasks. This encompasses tasks such as canceling warranties and insurance after repossession, addressing damage, skip, and deficiency claims, and maintaining continuous oversight to mitigate potential losses.
Duration: 3 months – With possibility to be hired permanently Temporary
Pay Range: $18-22 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Job Duties:
- Handling backend product cancellations, such as warranties, GAP coverage, and ancillary products
- Sorting and distributing all incoming mail, documenting returned mail, and sending out letters and notices via regular mail, certified mail, or FedEx for various department teams.
- Oversee charge-offs and maintain departmental balance.
Experience/Education:
- 1+ years of experience in a Collections role (Required)
- 1+ years of experience with financial institution software (Preferred)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
