Job Store Staffing is seeking a Facilities Technician for a client in the Denver area. This client is a non-profit retirement community, offering you the opportunity to give back by serving the elderly. The Facilities Technician will perform routine maintenance that is essential to the appearance and continued upkeep of the property and assigned areas under the direction of the Director of Facilities. Pay/Hours
- $20-23/hr
- Monday – Friday 730am-4pm with a rotating Saturday shift
Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician
- Perform routine maintenance to the building
- Light plumbing repairs
- Light Electrical repairs
- HVAC up keep
- Paint touch ups and dry wall repairs
- Documentation of repairs and service requests
Qualifications of the Facilities Technician
- Two years of hands-on experience in building maintenance preferred.
- Some experience with painting, grounds work, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and apartment make-ready.
- Use of hand tools required for job assignments.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to lift/ move up to 100 lbs
