We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our client's team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support operations. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
Pay Range: $20-30/hours
Location: North Colorado Springs
Duration: Temporary (approximately 4 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services in alignment with production schedules and company standards
Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best combination of price, quality, and delivery terms
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with production to maintain adequate stock
Create and manage purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and resolve any discrepancies with vendors
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and optimize supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain required
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/MRP systems
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
