Job Description

Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator with strong welding skills for a fourth-generation design company dedicated to creating uncompromisingly beautiful, artisan-made lighting. Pay Range: $20-25/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
 
What you'll do in this role:                   
  • Perform precision fabrication of metal components and structures
  • Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including cut-off saws, shear, mills, lathes, drill presses, and soldering equipment
  • Utilize welding techniques to assemble and fabricate parts to specification
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings
  • Set up fabricating machines and create custom templates as needed
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of fabrication experience
  • Strong welding experience required
  • Knowledge of manual mills and manual lathes is a plus
  • General knowledge of shop math, including basic trigonometry
  • Complete knowledge of fabrication equipment, setups, and fabrication practices
  • Ability to use 3D CAD software a plus
