We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to perform various accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80922
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $24 per hour
Duration: Temporary until the end of February
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile accounts and financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and prepare financial reports as needed.
- Analyze financial data and contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (required)
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
