Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to support our finance team in Colorado Springs. This is a full-time temporary position expected to last through February. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting practices, with specific experience in accounts payable and expense processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and credit card statements
Assist with bill payments and verify accuracy of charges
Enter and maintain accounting data into internal systems (JD Edwards experience is a plus but not required)
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice discrepancies or payment issues
Support month-end closing and general ledger tasks as needed
Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Qualifications:
Previous accounting experience is required (accounts payable, general ledger, or bookkeeping preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with accounting software (JD Edwards experience is a plus)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
