Job Store Staffing is seeking an eager and motivated Administration Assistant for a client located in the Englewood area. The Administration Assistant will provide general administrative support and also have accounting responsibilities. The Administration Assistant is a direct hire position for the right candidate. The Administration Assistant position will pay $18/hr. Schedule will be 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8am-4: 30pm or 9am-5: 30pm.

The ideal candidate for the Administration Assistant position must be a highly organized individual with advanced interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to successfully manage multiple projects. 

The Administrative Assistant will be response for the day-to-day administrative support provided to sales, unit and administrative managers in addition to the President of the company.

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Maintains workflow by studying methods; implementing cost reductions; and developing reporting  procedures.

Assists sales force by completing requests in a timely manner.

Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, and forms control; implementing changes.

Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.

Ensures operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Provides information by answering questions and requests.

Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Provide accounts payable and receivable support to the accounting team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Two years of administrative and supportive accounting experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Effective written, verbal and phone communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work in a team environment successfully.

Ability to analyze information and problem solve with little guidance.

Bachelor s degree preferred.
