We are seeking skilled assemblers for our metal assembly client!
Duration: Long Term, Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $18-22/hour
Location: Southeast, Colorado Springs, CO 80916
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30 pm
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
- Must be certified in forklift operation within 30 days of starting.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in using a variety of hand tools.
- Familiarity with most common materials of construction.
- Ability to calculate area, circumference, and perform general algebra and geometry.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Job Duties:
- Assemble projects per established plans.
- Perform medium to complex heavy assembly tasks
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine assembly instructions and specifications.
- Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Support troubleshooting and repair of assembled products as required.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of assembly tools and equipment.
