Job Store Professional is seeking a compassionate Assisted Living Director! The Assisted Living Director role is a Direct Hire opportunity with a boutique community, offering quality care and sophisticated service for Seniors.

*Position is a Full-time exempt position Sunday-Thursday Schedule 9AM-5PM

*Position may require the candidate to be on call after regular business hours

*Position may require evening, weekend and holiday availability


Salary Range: $80k-90K

Assisted Living Director Responsibilities 

  1. ALD will manage and have direct over sight of the assisted living program/community
  2. ALD will recruit, interview, hire, manage, schedule, motivate, evaluate, and supervise assisted living staff in accordance with community policies, procedures and established budgets. 
  3.  ALD will manage and implement ongoing training, education, and in-services in accordance with all governing requirements, and community policies and procedures to ensure all staff is properly trained.
  4. ALD will communicate with medical professionals and families regarding the needs of residents.
  5. ALD will have primary responsibility for conducting assessments for the assisted living community and determine the care for residents.
  6. ALD will conduct all care conferences for the Assisted Living community and recommend adjustments in care and services.
  7. ALD will have complete oversight of medication management in the assisted living.
  8. ALD will maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
  9. ALD will be responsible for managing the assisted living department’s monthly and annual budget.
  10. ALD will submit reports as directed to the Executive Director.
  11. ALD will serve as manager on duty (MOD) as assigned.
  12. ALD will participate in rotation for on call and emergency/crisis situations after scheduled office hours.
  13. ALD will perform other duties as assigned or needed.



  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)


Licenses, Certification and other Considerations of the Position

  1.  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) · Medication Aide Certificate · First Aid and CPR Certification ·  Satisfactory Criminal Background Check (per community policy) · Negative TB test · Clean Drug and Alcohol Screening · Proficient in Microsoft Office ·   Proficient in Outlook · Prefer experience with Point Click Care
