Automation Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Range: $17.90 - $23.38 per hour (starting pay based on experience, with most candidates beginning at the lower end of the range)
Shift: 3:15pm-1:45am
We are seeking an Automation Operator for the 2nd shift to operate automated machinery and ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This role offers an opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines.
- Use computer-controlled and/or manual equipment to select, position, and secure machinery.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, meeting specifications and deadlines.
- Learn and utilize precision measuring tools to ensure quality production.
- Observe safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote workplace safety.
- Observe machine repairs performed by Technicians to gain understanding.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in automation operation is strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capable of performing effectively in medium- to fast-paced settings.
