Position Overview

Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Automation Operator to join a manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment, making machine adjustments, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What You'll Do

Operate automated and semi-automated production machinery
Set up and operate equipment according to established procedures and production specifications
Monitor machines and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and production standards
Use computer-controlled and manually controlled equipment
Learn and use precision measuring tools to verify product quality
Monitor production processes and identify potential issues
Work alongside experienced technicians and learn basic machine maintenance processes
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Complete required production documentation and computer data entry
Meet production deadlines and quality standards
Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED preferred
At least 1 year of experience operating CNC, automated, or manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
CNC programming experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic computer skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in a medium- to fast-paced manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, stoop, and squat occasionally
Frequently lift and/or move items up to 10 lbs.
Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 lbs.
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility as needed
Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse
Ability to sit for extended periods when required
