Job Store Staffing is hiring for an Automation Operator for an Engineering company that specializes in making custom seals, springs, and electrical contacts for a variety of industries.
Pay Range: $17 - $23/hour depending on experience
Location: Northern Colorado Springs, CO 80921
Duration: Contract-To-Hire
Hours of Position: Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-1:45am (including 1-2 mandatory Saturdays a month)
Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician
Observes and follows all safety protocols
Learns the use of precision measuring tools
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1 years of automation operation experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to promote and work in a highly collaborative environment
Experience in a high-volume production environment
High School Diploma or GED preferred
