Job Store Staffing is seeking a Blasting Technician for our client company in Colorado Springs that specializes in the component design, manufacturing, and servicing of vacuum pumps.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, some overtime as needed
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Duration: Temporary to Hire
Location: West Colorado Springs, CO, 80919
Requirements:
Attendance is key
A background check and drug screen are conducted upon offer
Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently without issues
Must be able to stand throughout entire shift
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean parts from disassembly with a parts washer and blasting machine
Must stay organized with parts
Wear PPE throughout the day
Perform routine preventative maintenance on shop equipment as needed. This includes but is not limited to daily and monthly PM’s as well as machine upkeep
Safe use of hoists and hydraulic lifts to lift and transport heavy parts
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping a tidy workspace and observing policies regarding safe work practices and personal protective equipment
Other duties as assigned
