Job Store Staffing is recruiting for a full charge Bookkeeper to work for a client in the Centennial, Colorado area. Our client is a small global consulting company that is rapidly growing in the US. The Bookkeeper will be a hybrid position with one day a week in their Centennial office. The Bookkeeper position will be a temporary-to-hire opportunity as our client is really looking for someone that will be a great fit for their team.
The position will also include day-to-day bookkeeping including AR, AP, month-end reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. The Bookkeeper will have a heavy focus on invoicing multiple clients. We need someone that enjoys manual entry of invoices and quickly gaining an understanding of the detailed process involved. Ideal candidates will have very strong attention to detail and have very good data entry skills. Must be able to learn quickly, have critical thinking skills and likes solving puzzles.
The successful candidate will possess advanced Microsoft Excel experience, QuickBooks, and the ability to learn quickly. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), excellent communication skills and the ability to function effectively within a team and independently.
Pay: $24-$30/hr - $50,000-$62,400/year

Bookkeeper duties:
- A/R Invoice entry and collections
- Works closely with client services and production department on invoicing and annual fee collections
- Keeps track of inventory
- Process and submit commissions to Global controller
- A/P coding and payments
- Monthly financial statements
- Quarterly and annual reporting and monitoring of budget to actuals
- Performs month-end closings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support related tax and financial reporting functions – e.g. send 1099s
- Maintains the company’s accounting practices in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and enforce accounting procedures and approvals
- Identify and work to implement business process improvements
- Provide decision support to the Global controller
- Respond to client/vendor questions - e.g. W9, vendor registrations, insurance requests
- Import and categorize all expenses
- Ensure billable expenses are invoiced
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- 3+ years of recent small business accounting experience
- Must have experience processing invoices
- High proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel required
- Experience with foreign currencies highly desired
- Experience with HubSpot desired but not required
