Job Store Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to work for a client located in Indian Hills. Our client is 30 minutes west of Downtown Denver in the beautiful front range. The Bookkeeper will be a hybrid opportunity with 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
The Bookkeeper is a 3 month temporary position.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Duration: 3 months
Pay: $25-35/per hour
Position Summary:
Support the financial operations of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring timely processing of transactions. This role plays a key part in keeping the company’s financials organized and up to date.
Our client is located in a beautiful area of Colorado and is a dog friendly office. It is a small company and is a great opportunity to expand your accounting skills and gain experience working for a small HVAC company.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Basic understanding of AP/AR processes
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company credit cards
- Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries for management
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support payroll processing and coordinate with payroll providers
- Help with filing trade rebates and vendor records
- Perform light administrative tasks related to finance
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
