Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, experienced CNC Machinist for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting low-volume production in a clean, safety-focused shop environment. This is a steady weekday role with no nights or weekends, offering a strong balance of autonomy and consistency.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts
(Start times as early as 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM)
If you enjoy setting up, programming, and running a variety of CNC machines—and you take pride in precision work—we’d like to connect. This is an ideal role for someone who values independence, craftsmanship, and continuous learning in machining.
What’s offered:
  • Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable, growing operation
  • Competitive pay: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)
  • Clean, safe, and well-maintained shop environment
  • Medical reimbursement program and company-paid disability coverage
  • Generous 401(k) plan
  • Consistent weekday schedule with work-life balance
What you’ll do:
  • Independently set up, program, and operate CNC machines for small-batch production runs
  • Work with a variety of parts and changeovers throughout the day or week
  • Use shop math regularly, including speeds, feeds, and geometric calculations
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Work with CNC equipment such as vertical machining centers and lathes
  • Make program edits and adjustments as needed to optimize performance
What you bring:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of GD&T principles
  • Experience with CNC setup, operation, and program editing
  • Working knowledge of G & M codes
  • Solid machining fundamentals and attention to detail
  • Reliable, self-directed work style
  • Genuine curiosity and pride in your craft
About the environment:
This is a small, precision-focused manufacturing environment where quality matters. The culture is low ego, collaborative, and detail-oriented. Team members take pride in doing things right, solving problems, and understanding how things work—not just getting parts out the door.
If you're looking for a stable shop where your skills are respected and you have room to work independently, this could be a strong fit.
