Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Compensation: $18 – $26/hour
We’re looking for a talented Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a high-performance manufacturing team. If you thrive on tight tolerances, advanced tools, and producing work that meets exacting standards, this could be your next opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
Step into a fast-paced fabrication environment where your craftsmanship directly impacts product quality and performance:
Interpret detailed blueprints and engineering drawings with precision.
Operate CNC machinery including press brakes, punch presses, laser cutters, shears, and hardware insertion equipment.
Shape, bend, and assemble precision sheet metal components to exact specifications.
Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve processes.
Maintain a safe, organized workspace and perform basic machine maintenance.
Use hand tools and pneumatic equipment confidently and safely.
What You Bring:
2–5 years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.
Technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work orders.
Knowledge of aluminum, mild steel, gauges, and fabrication methods.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Bonus Skills:
Experience in aerospace, medical, or electronics fabrication.
Familiarity with machine file software and CNC interfaces.
Tooling setup and selection experience.
Basic computer skills for production tracking or machine operation.
