CNC Technician I

Location: Boulder, CO

Schedule

  • Regular Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am (includes a $2.00/hour shift differential)
  • Training Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Range: $25.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience (pay is negotiable for highly qualified candidates)

Position Overview

Job Store Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Technician I for a leading manufacturing partner in Boulder, CO. The CNC Technician will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery to shape and machine parts from simple to moderately complex designs
  • Perform basic program edits, including GCODE, MACRO, and offsets.
  • Set up materials, fixtures, tooling, and accessories; align and secure workpieces.
  • Monitor feeds, speeds, and tooling conditions during machining operations.
  • Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to drawings and specifications.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Follow work instructions, prints, and process documentation for accurate production.
  • Assist with blocking optics for dicing, machining, and core drilling as required CNC Technician I
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (trade school or CNC coursework preferred).
  • At least 1 year of CNC machining experience or formal CNC training.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Solid math and geometry skills for machining applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
