Job Store Staffing is seeking a Compliance Analyst for our client in Colorado Springs!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in compliance, fraud investigation, or financial services and is looking to make a meaningful impact in preventing financial crimes.
Duration: 3 months
Pay Range: $22-29 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Location: North Colorado Springs, 80921
This is an 100% onsite position
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in Fraud prevention and detection management or auditing
- Direct experience preparing and submitting Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs)
- Strong knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and related federal regulations
- Familiarity with OFAC watchlists and Section 314(a) screening processes
- Excellent communication, investigative, and organizational skills
Compliance Analyst Duties:
- Prepare, validate, and submit Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in compliance with BSA requirements
- Monitor, maintain, and reconcile negotiable instrument logs and cash transaction thresholds
- Analyze large cash transactions for potential structuring and suspicious activity
- Review and resolve system-generated alerts related to CTRs and cash activity
- Identify and escalate patterns of potential avoidance or structuring
