Job Store is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician to join our shipping team. In this role, you’ll assemble components into high-quality, custom products for window screens tailored to specific designs and client needs. The position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
Experience with tools, reading technical instructions, and troubleshooting is highly preferred. As a Custom Assembly Technician, you’ll be part of a family owned company that has been serving customers for over 40 years with custom window screens, screen doors, and screen systems from leading manufacturers. Hours/Pay:
- Schedule: M-F 7:30am- 4pm
- Pay: $23-25/hr
What you’ll be doing:
- Picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling custom boxes for shipments
- Wrapping and packaging stock and custom products
- Following FedEx/UPS shipping guidelines for safe and accurate shipments
- Using hand and power tools as needed to prep products for shipping
- Assisting with other warehouse or shipping tasks as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- Previous shipping, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Attention to detail, especially for custom orders and shipping requirements
- Comfortable using hand tools and saws
- Sit-down Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs. and stand for long periods
