The Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales position is required to successfully perform product sales functions, to manage key accounts, order and data entry, customer support and account management and growth. Inside Sales person is to actively pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, and inquiry calls.

Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Manage customer contact, account activity and follow up to order inquiries



  • Entering sales orders, checking account status, sending acknowledgments to customers and processing sample requests



  • Creating and presenting reports or presentations as requested by management



  • Effective resolving customer complaint issues, and making the appropriate entries in the customer complain log



  • Maintain, monitor, and grow top performing customers



  • Cold calling/seeking new opportunities



  • Assisting with the development and implementation of effective sales practices and activities in support of company goals.



  • Assisting with the development and implementation of effective sales practices and activities in support of company goals.



  • Assist shipping with the product certification documents and paperwork



  • Initiative RMA procedure, part entries and follow-up



  • Assist Sales Associates with order entry and account support



  • Cross train with Contract Review



  • Responsible for ongoing compliance to the requirements of the ISO quality management systems



  • Performing guest reception and telephone answering and routing functions



  • Duties as assigned by the President



Organizational Relationships

  • The Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales reports to the president and maintains a working relationship and communication with sales, contract review, production, quality, shipping and accounting departments.



Education & Training

  • Associate or BA Degree, plus two years in a sales and/or customer service environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.



  • Through knowledge of sales order entry, customer services and sales support functions.



  • Good working knowledge of computers and office software including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)



  • Knowledgeable in the use of CRM relational database programs such as Sage (ACT), Sales Force etc.



  • Physically capable of operating typical office machinery/devices, including personal computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, wireless communication devices, multi-line business telephone systems, etc.



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.



  • Experienced in the generation of various software reports.



Special Requirements

  • All employees should have knowledge of the Quality Policy Statement and how their job supports the quality statement and quality objectives.



  • All employees are responsible for identification of product and mainlining traceability of materials and products (record keeping based on Good Documentation Practices).
