Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a first-shift production team for a client in the Centennial, CO area. This hands-on role involves assembling, aligning, and inspecting optical, electronic, and mechanical components and subassemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $18-$19/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electronic components using work orders, production drawings, and verbal or written instructions.
Align optical elements and subassemblies with precision using mechanical and adhesive methods.
Fasten components via screws, clips, bolts, or adhesives and verify assembly accuracy.
Inspect parts and assemblies throughout the production process for quality and compliance.
Rotate through multiple workstations as production needs require.
Assemble grips, bumpers, and housings using mechanical and adhesive techniques.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including routine housekeeping tasks.
Follow all safety protocols, including use of protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
Participate in training programs including safety (OSHA), quality, and production techniques.
Use small hand tools and microscopes regularly; apply cleaners and solvents safely.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in optical, electronic, or mechanical assembly within the past 3 years.
Proficient with small hand tools and microscope work; soldering experience is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and communicate findings to supervisors.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Dependable and ready to start on time; flexible to work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift and move 10–25 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting.
