As the Estimator, You Will:
- Estimate costs for construction projects including materials, labor, and subcontractors
- Review architectural drawings and specifications for accurate pricing
- Conduct site assessments to identify challenges and gather project data
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors for competitive pricing
- Identify cost-saving value engineering options
- Mitigate risks and ensure estimates align with project goals
- Maintain accurate documentation for auditing and project transitions
To Succeed as the Estimator, You Should Have:
- A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of proven construction estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and estimating methods
- Proficiency in software like Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under deadline pressure
- A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional job site visits. Must be comfortable wearing appropriate PPE when on site.
