Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Worker to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality meal service in an institutional setting such as a school, hospital, or nursing home. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar environment, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals following proper food handling and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations during food preparation, storage, and service.
  • Assist with food presentation for daily meal service and special events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and accommodate dietary needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report supply shortages.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Must have at least 6 months of food service experience in a school, hospital, or nursing home setting.
  • Prior experience in institutional food service is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and handling procedures.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including day shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
