Job Store Staffing is seeking an HR Administrator for our client located in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a temporary position expected to last 3-6 months. The hours for this position is 1st shift Monday- Friday. The pay rate for this position is depending upon experience.

Summary:

Provides first-level support in response to manager and colleague questions. Provides direct support to company employees, other HR groups and company management as part of a centralized function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions. Receives and responds to requests concerning HR policies/programs. Appropriately routes requests from employees to others for additional information. May respond to practices inquiries via online resources and/or telephone. Processes various paper and electronic forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, termination of employment, etc. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database and/or documents activities as requested.

Duties:

Responsible for daily inputs and data changes into HRIS system.

Tests HRIS functionality with upgrades to system.

Reviews and audits data entries within HRIS system for accuracy.

May perform as a specialist within a particular discipline of HR in responding to requests or specializes in a local country/region.

Resolves more difficult and less frequent questions from colleagues.

Researches questions and issues and determines appropriate course of action.

Escalates more complex issues to the appropriate HR department/individual for resolution.

Continues to develop general HR knowledge as well as expertise regarding IHS programs and policies.

Tracks the status of manager and colleague inquiries.

Responsibility to coordinate site or country specific project work with support from more senior team members or Manager.

Solid customer service skills - including the ability to handle difficult customer issues in a professional manner, respond to customer needs in a timely manner and identify customer needs.

Solid ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment in resolving issues affecting customer.

Working knowledge of a broad spectrum of HR policies and practices.

Solid PC and MS Office application skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data security.

Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. Ability to effectively participate on global team

 

Requirements:

Must have 2-3 year of Human Resource experience

Must be able to pass background and drug test
