Job Store Staffing is currently seeking a HR Generalist/ Talent Acquisition Specialist for our client company in Manufacturing. This role involves overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, and contributing to human resource administrative tasks. Shift: Monday – Friday Day Shift, 40 hours a week
Starting Pay: $25-30/hour
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered
- SHRM Certified Professional certification (or equivalent) highly preferred
- At least two years of experience in talent acquisition within a high-growth organization
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Confident, professional, and friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple HR-related tasks
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and legal requirements
Job Duties:
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including screening, selection, hiring, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Provide recommendations for job descriptions and interview questions
- Facilitate the offer process, including salary negotiations and reference checks
- Onboard new employees and follow up during their first 45 days
- Monitor, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics to improve the hiring process
- Stay informed on industry trends and legal requirements in talent acquisition
- Coordinate employer branding efforts related to talent acquisition
- Work with outside recruiting agencies as needed
- Develop and maintain a talent pool database
- Attend job fairs and other recruitment events
- Maintain accurate human resource files, records, and documentation
- Answer frequently asked HR-related questions from applicants and employees
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of HR files
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records
