ISO & Safety Compliance Manager
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ISO & Safety Compliance Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 9001:2015 and oversee workplace safety programs in compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations. This role ensures manufacturing operations meet the highest standards for product quality, regulatory compliance, and employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
ISO / Quality Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain an ISO 9001:2015-compliant QMS.
Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits, including certification and recertification.
Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
Lead root cause analysis and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct supplier quality audits and verify vendor compliance.
Provide ISO/QMS training to staff and managers.
Track and report QMS performance metrics to leadership.
Safety Compliance:
Serve as the company’s OSHA liaison for inspections and compliance.
Develop and enforce safety policies in accordance with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and ergonomic assessments.
Investigate accidents and near misses, implement corrective actions.
Lead safety meetings, drills, and awareness campaigns.
Track safety KPIs, maintain OSHA logs, and oversee PPE and safety equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years managing ISO 9001:2015 audits and safety programs.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.
Proficient with QMS software, audit tools, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
OSHA 30, CSP, or other recognized safety certifications.
First Aid/CPR certification.
Experience in supplier audits, CAPA management, and industrial manufacturing.
