Industrial Insulation Team Lead

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour
100% Travel | Per Diem Provided | Company Vehicle

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Industrial Insulation Team Lead to oversee field operations and lead crews across multiple industrial worksites. This position is responsible for the production and successful completion of all industrial insulation and metal work projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications.

This is a travel-intensive role offering competitive hourly compensation, per diem, and a company vehicle.

Position Overview

The Industrial Insulation Team Lead will manage day-to-day operations at worksites, supervise crews, maintain client relationships, and ensure all documentation and reporting requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across industrial insulation worksites

• Ensure projects meet budget requirements, quality standards, specifications, and deadlines

• Supervise crew leads and field personnel to maintain productivity and efficiency

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients at each worksite

• Oversee completion of required documentation, including work tickets, JSA, work permits, production reports, and QA/QC reports

• Track and submit required reports to the administrative department

• Complete expense reports in accordance with company policy

• Assist in training and mentoring field staff and new hires

• Ensure proper maintenance of worksite equipment and tools

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

• Address performance and disciplinary matters in alignment with company guidelines

• Follow all company processes, procedures, and required trainings

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial insulation and metal work

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to drive large pickup trucks with enclosed trailers

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical/lift test (up to 50 lbs)

• Ability to obtain a Safeland Card

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 300 Card and MSHA Card

• Experience in the oil and gas industry

• Project estimating experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
