Job Store Staffing is hiring immediately for a Lead SMT Machine Operator! In this role, you will run SMT machines, verify component placement, and provide day-to-day leadership to ensure PCB assemblies meet customer specifications. The right Lead SMT Machine Operator is someone that is hands-on in a production role with responsibility for training, support, troubleshooting, and communication across departments.

Pay & Shift
- $22–$25/hr DOE
- Mon–Fri 2:30pm–11:00pm with OT opportunites
Responsibilities of Lead SMT Machine Operator
- Execute machine programs and placement of SMT parts on PCBs
- Complete job verification using BOM and PPJ files
- Transfer PPJ files and create job setups on MyData machines
- Inspect solder paste and verify correct part polarity/rotation
- Test components (LEDs, capacitors, diodes)
- Inspect boards for missing, misaligned, or damaged parts and make corrections
- Maintain communication with Process Engineering, Coding, and QA
- Ensure SMT operators are following schedule and production goals
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Support continuous improvement and lead by example
Qualifications of Lead SMT Machine Operator
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years operating SMT or comparable manufacturing machinery
- Ability to read datasheets, assembly documentation, and manufacturing procedures
- Basic computer/software proficiency
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Able to work scheduled and additional hours as required
