Job Store Staffing is seeking a Full time Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing client in the Colorado Springs area who is a leader in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Duties include:
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and execute repairs related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, forklift maintenance, automotive maintenance, hydraulic systems and shop equipment.
- Provides direction and technical advice to facility employees
- Perform Preventive Maintenance activities.
- Provide maintenance support to our facility with a focus on safety
- Utilize excellent electrical skills and knowledge in electrical/electronics and be able to read electrical schematics.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems and hydraulic problems.
- Improve efficiencies and initiate continuous improvement efforts.
- Complete Work Orders and order parts as needed.
- Oversee the completion of basic maintenance projects.
- Follow all safety and GMP requirements and perform repairs as needed for safety issues and concerns.
- Direct maintenance department employees on day to day required activities.
- Must have own tools.
Requirements:
- 3 years of previous experience or equivalent demonstrated ability to perform all job functions
- High school diploma, GED, trade school, or equivalent with demonstrated maintenance
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery such as CNC Punches, CNC Brake Presses, CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Paint Lines, Fork Lifts and Delivery Trucks.
- 6 years of previous experience or equivalent demonstrated ability to perform all job functions
- Training in machine safety and quality awareness
- Forklift certification preferred
