Job Store Staffing is hiring for Machine Operators for an Engineering company that specializes in making custom seals, springs, and electrical contacts for a variety of industries.
Pay Range: $17 - $24/hour depending on experience
Location: Northern Colorado Springs, CO 80921 Duration: Contract-To-Hire
Hours of Position:
- Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Monday-Friday, 3:15 pm-1:45 am
(including 1-2 mandatory Saturdays a month)
Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
- Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
- Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area
- Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
- Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician
- Observes and follows all safety protocols
- Learns the use of precision measuring tools
- Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Machine Operation experience Required
- Preferred CNC Operating Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to promote and work in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience in a high-volume production environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
