Job Store Staffing is seeking Machine Operator for an extrusion machine. This is a temp to hire opportunity with long term advancement.
Duties and responsibilities
Extrusion Technicians will be responsible for the following job duties:
Understand that the Customer is our first priority.
Monitoring the execution, the extrusion process and following the setup and schedules.
Tooling size and material changes.
Preforming trouble shooting; inspection and quality of tubing.
Extrusion Technicians are responsible for verification of paperwork/records for jobs; job starts first article, 15/30 minute size checks. Monitoring and preparing production equipment i.E. Extruders, puller/cutters, prepping printer, and having all material handled and ready for run. The role is performed in a manufacturing environment, which may be a controlled environment (classified cleanroom).
Must be thorough and understanding of job duties, adapt to change volunteers to other when there is time, Very detailed oriented. Fast learner, able to pick things up on the fly. Making deadlines staying on task.

Education & Training
A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with an ability to read measuring devices, i.E. Micrometer, gauge pins and interpret for part drawings.
The process tech must possess or be able to obtain a valid forklift license, and an ability to operate overhead cranes and use hand tools.
Good computer skill in Microsoft. The use of IQMS or other manufacturing enterprise software is a plus.
Must be able to pass a drug screen test.
Be able to move freely in shop area with obstacles, and be in confined spaces. Work early mornings, evening and weekends if required.
The team member must have a good motor skills and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. The position requires standing for up to 10 hours, lifting, turning, twisting, reaching, pulling and pushing as part of the tooling process of extrusion.
