Job Description

Job Store Staffing is hiring an Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical) for a growing manufacturing company in Colorado Springs. 

Pay: $22-27.25/hour
Location: South Colorado Springs, 80905

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping production running efficiently. 

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and other production equipment
  • Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems, including 240V and 480V equipment
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Replace worn or defective machine components
  • Operate maintenance equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and other specialized tools
  • Help improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime
  • Follow all safety, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Trade school or technical training may be considered in place of experience
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical controls
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and digital maintenance systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where PPE is required, including:
  • Safety glasses
  • Lab coat
  • Hairnet and beard cover (when applicable)
  • Dust mask or respirator
  • Hearing protection as needed
