Maintenance Technician – Job Store Staffing

Pay: $30–$33/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Overnight Shift)
Promotion Opportunity: Lead Maintenance Technician in February 2026 at $35–$44/hour

Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support one of our top clients in a regulated pharmaceutical production environment. This is a strong long-term opportunity with a clear advancement path successful employees will be considered for a Lead Maintenance Technician promotion in February 2026.

About the Role

You’ll work independently and as part of a tight-knit engineering team to complete both scheduled and reactive maintenance. Your technical expertise keeps critical equipment running smoothly and ensures the facility meets strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building support.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery using manuals, diagrams, and precision tools.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and update all required documentation.
• Maintain spares and parts inventory; may process purchase orders as needed.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards (FDA, OSHA, EPA, Hazmat, DEA).
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and escalate appropriately.
• Participate in all safety and EH&S initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work the overnight Monday–Friday shift and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Basic computer proficiency (calendars, spreadsheets) and strong documentation habits.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
