Join Our Team as a Mechanical Technician

Are you ready to be a part of a cutting-edge team that's revolutionizing the battery industry? We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our innovative and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install & Maintain Equipment: Lead or assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of new and existing machinery.
  • Schedule & Track Maintenance: Use CMMS software to manage maintenance schedules for all equipment.
  • Support Production: Work with various departments to integrate process-specific equipment and coordinate with contractors as needed.
  • Develop Procedures: Help create new procedures and improve existing practices through work instructions and SOPs.
  • Document & Report: Communicate results through effective data collection, documentation, and reporting.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Plan and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Repair Equipment: Fix production equipment as necessary.
  • Self-Management: Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Inspect Equipment: Ensure equipment is functioning correctly and perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical/related discipline, or at least 10 years of maintenance experience in a lab, technology, or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • General maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical control systems (480VAC, 208VAC, 110VAC, and 24VDC), pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drive systems.
    • Experience with starters, relays, contacts, and fuses.
    • Experience replacing pump seals, motors, and gearboxes.
    • Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, valves, and hoses.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Fast Learner: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Independent Worker: Capable of completing tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Location Flexibility: Availability to work and drive between two sites, located in Louisville (primary work site) and Thornton, Colorado.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $30-$40/hour
