Job Description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a solution orientated Metal Fabricator for a fourth-generation design company dedicated to creating uncompromisingly beautiful, artisan-made lighting. About the Company:
For the last century, our client has built a legacy of honest, enduring design. With premium materials and a made-to-order ethos, their lighting is built by craftspeople who care about every detail. From their workshop in Colorado, these artisans use time-honored techniques to cut, solder, turn and hand produce every piece so that each one bears the loyal imprint of its maker.
 
Pay Range: $20-25/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
 
What you'll do in this role:                   
  • Operate various fabrication equipment such as cut-off saws, shear, mills, lathes, drill presses and soldering equipment to produce a variety of parts conforming to specification
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints 
  • Fabricate metal components or structures 
  • Perform quality checks on finished products
  • Set up fabricating machines and design custom templates
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of fabrication experience
  • General knowledge of shop math, including basic trigonometry
  • Complete knowledge of fabrication equipment, setups, and fabrication practices
  • Ability to use 3D CAD software a plus
