Job Title: Product Development Manager – Nutraceuticals
 Location: Colorado (Relocation Assistance Available)
 Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
 Compensation Range: $125,000-140,000 + Benefits
About the Role
A leading nutraceutical manufacturer with a century-long legacy of innovation is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the creation and commercialization of dietary supplements. This role is ideal for a technically skilled, hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative, regulated environment and has a passion for wellness-driven product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new dietary supplement products from ideation through commercialization
  • Formulate and test solid dose, softgel, gummy, and powder delivery systems
  • Conduct raw material vetting, specification development, and bench-top formulation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA/QC, procurement, operations, sales, and marketing
  • Manage multiple projects using Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, sprints)
  • Drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot formulation challenges, and ensure quality compliance
  • Maintain documentation according to cGMP and internal SOPs
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in nutraceutical or food product formulation
  • Experience working in a regulated facility (FDA, cGMP)
  • Proven success in developing supplement products with various delivery systems
Technical Expertise
  • Compounding, compression, encapsulation
  • Physical and chemical evaluation of raw materials and finished goods
  • Stability testing and ingredient compatibility
  • Softgel and gummy formulation experience highly preferred
