Job Description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Plating Technicians to support our clients night-shift manufacturing operations in a high-tech, high-volume environment.

Location: North Colorado Springs
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Requires an initial 3–6 months of training on the 12-Hour Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Range: $22-24/hour

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Chemistry (or related field) with 1–2 years in the chemical or semiconductor industry; OR High School Diploma/GED with 3–4 years of industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of algebra for bath adjustments and concentration calculations.
  • Problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and solid written and verbal communication for logging and documentation.
  • Ability to stand for the majority of the 12-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable wearing full cleanroom PPE (lab coat, hairnet, booties, mask, gloves, eyewear) and working safely with hazardous materials daily.
Job Duties
  • Monitor, adjust, and titrate plating bath chemistry (pH, temperature, line balance).
  • Set up plating lines and process standard/thin wafers manually through baths.
  • Inspect tank sensors, pumps, and piping for leaks; perform routine tank dumping, cleaning, and bath prep.
  • Visually inspect wafers using microscopes/digital imaging; perform post-plate shear testing and height measurements.
  • Maintain accurate chemical addition logs and strictly follow all cleanroom protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with plating experiments, new process development, and other duties as assigned.
