The Powder Room Operator is responsible for packaging products, preparing cartons, completing required documentation, and ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards.
Location: South Colorado Springs, 80905
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Pay: $16.34/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Package products by placing bottles and cans into cartons.
- Fold, prepare, and close cartons after inspection.
- Monitor packaging for accuracy and quality.
- Count and dispose of rejected components properly.
- Clean equipment, tools, and the production area.
- Assist with completing batch records and other paperwork.
- Follow cGMP, SOPs, and batch requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete documentation.
- Able to disassemble and reassemble equipment when necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, arms, and fingers.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend for long periods.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to climb ladders and maintain balance.
- Normal hearing and vision (close, distance, color, and depth perception).
Working Environment
- Manufacturing environment requiring PPE such as lab coats, masks, safety glasses, gloves, and closed-toe shoes.
- Work performed near moving machinery and occasional exposure to airborne particles.
