Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Temporary Document Prepper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing physical documents for data entry and processing. This position is essential to ensuring documents are accurately organized, properly prepared, and ready for efficient access and use. The ideal candidate brings strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details
  • Pay: $16 per hour
  • Location: Pueblo, CO 81001
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
  • Duration: Tax Season
    (Note: Duration and hours may vary based on workload volume)
Responsibilities
  • Review, sort, and organize documents for data entry and processing
  • Open envelopes and extract documents
  • Remove staples, paper clips, binder clips, metal clasps, and other fasteners
  • Flatten, repair, and tape torn or folded documents as needed
  • Arrange documents in a specific, predefined order for processing
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy document access
  • Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline document preparation workflows
  • Meet productivity and quality standards consistently
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and manage repetitive tasks
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organization
  • Ability to meet productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
