Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Prepress Operator with at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume prepress environment supporting Web Offset and Digital presses. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, highly organized, and thrives in a deadline-driven production environment. The Prepress Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of printed materials before they reach the press. The is a direct hire opportunity in the Denver area.

Pay/ Hours
- $25-30/hr
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Sunday 6am-6pm
- This job requires 36-50 hours a week
Key Responsibilities of the Prepress Operator
- Preflight, edit, and troubleshoot customer-supplied files to ensure they meet job specifications
- Process and trap files using Kodak Prinergy workflow system
- Identify and communicate potential issues or production risks to the Account Management team
- Create impositions using Kodak Preps for proofs and press-ready files
- RIP files and output to proofing and plate-making devices
- Conduct quality control checks at every stage of the prepress workflow
- Maintain file integrity and proper job documentation throughout production
- Support production with additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a prepress environment, preferably in Web Offset and Digital print
- Strong knowledge of Mac OS and industry-standard software
- Proficiency with:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Enfocus PitStop Pro
- Kodak Prinergy Connect (Workshop)
- Kodak Preps Imposition Software
- QuarkXPress (preferred)
- Solid understanding of RIPing, trapping, color management, and print production standards
