Job Store Staffing is currently seeking a Second Shift Press Brake Operator for our client! Our family-owned and operated client has been a leader in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing for over 50 years!
The successful candidate for this position will use the Press Brake to shape metal by aligning and positioning material; maintain the machine in good working order; inspect pieces of metal for imperfections and overall quality; follow blueprint and schematics; and comply with all company safety procedures and standards.

Location: North-West Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m - 12:00 a.m
Pay: $17 - $19/hour
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs setup, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and operation of assigned press brakes
Ensures proper punch, die, package, and shape of product based on blueprint or work order
Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency, and safety
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma, GED, trade school, or equivalent (Required)
2 years of previous experience or equivalent demonstrated ability to perform all job functions (Required)
2 years Press Brake experience (Required)
Training in machine safety and quality awareness (Preferred)
Must demonstrate proficiency reading specification blueprints.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels, and occasionally works near moving
mechanical parts. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time while frequently using hands to
finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to
walk, reach with hands, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear. Employee must be able to see up close,
use peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus. Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective
equipment. Will frequently and repetitively be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
